Glowing Computers
Way back in 2011 I assembled a computer from parts purchased at a local store. It worked well for many years, but now no longer does. Here is a photo of the parts:
The case, as you can see, was plain with no adornments, the side panels were just black-painted sheet metal. When operating it did not light up anything other than some LEDs indicating that it was on.
I was taken aback when I recently visited the same store and saw their selection of desktop computers. They all had illuminated fans and other glowing parts and the sides were transparent to show the glowing innards. One in particular caught my attention. It even had a small, round display showing an animated cartoon creature. This is on the inside!
In my photo you can see the “window” with some reflections. The blue lights and the display really are inside.

And they have windows on the side! Fine for Monday Window, but not for my place, way too annoying. Who would want something like that?

Looks good with the glowing colours, but I like a handy one better.
Very interesting..I won’t buy it though 😂…I prefer a lightweight, portable device.
