Classified Windows

Hello Monday Window friends!

No, not what you first thought when you read the title. When I named this post “classified windows” I meant it in the dictionary meaning: arranged in classes or categories as in “a classified catalog of books“. But I must start at the beginning of this story.

Last summer when I decided to give up ownership of Monday Window, I also wanted to create and keep a library of my prior posts. It was an arduous, painful process, but that is another story. Recently I wondered what good is a library if you can’t easily find things. I decided to classify my posts. The first category that came to mind was “arched window”. Surely there were not too many of those and the classification chore would be fairly easy. Well, it wasn’t really hard, it was surprising, however. I had decided if there was even one window in any of the photos that had even a hint of a roundedness, I would assign it the “arched window” category.

I worked my way through the posts and found many more than I had suspected. Here are some arched windows from my photo archives. You will find all but one of them in posts in my Monday Window library:

So which one is not in my library? I will let you take a look: Library – Arched Window. No, you don’t have to spend hours there. I will reveal the one here next week.

Better you take a look at what other Monday Window bloggers have come up with this week (scroll down to the comments):

  1. So many windows to be classified. I have all mine lumped in the one folder with only a few sub-folders.
Window shapes is a good idea

    1. On my laptop they are scattered all over and not well tagged. Maybe next year …
