- That’s me
Yep, that me, Ludwig –
As seen by Afif and his camera at his Studio Prime Time. The occasion was the visit by the Norcross Gallery Photography Interest Group that I rambled about previously. Studio Visit – Cafe Ludwig.
Ludwig I did edit and crop the photo and converted it to black and white. That’s because I don’t think of myself as a particularly colorful fellow.
My other photo with me in it was in my more recent post Studio Visit – Cafe Ludwig.
- Shrimp and Grits
Low-Country Dining
For tonight’s dinner we went Low-Country Cuisine – Shrimp and Grits – with a touch of “unauthenticity”.

- Acrylic Mountain
… well, where did you think acrylic paints come from?
Acrylic Mountain Kidding, of course. These “works of art” are just tests of acrylic media from a workshop at Norcross Gallery and Studios. The event was about the wide variety of acrylic paints not only in colors, but other characteristic like glossiness, opacity, and viscosity – from thin, flowing ink to thick paste.
Testing Acrylic Media Also presented were a variety of papers with different textures and thickness.
A most interesting presentation.
Abstract with Symmetry and Texture This last one was not one of the texture offerings. Can you figure out what it really is?
OK, I’ll tell you. I had folded up a paper towel to use for cleaning the brushes. It seemed like a fun piece of art when I unfolded it.
Oh yes, the originals are for sale – make me an offer.
- Cardinal
Wouldn’t my photo of this gorgeous male cardinal look great over your couch too? (See more in my Gallery Store.)
