Windows of Savannah
You may have seen these windows before, I shared this photo in several places, but here it is again. The attraction, of course, are the neat reflections in in the windows.

Here I continue my series of “Windows in Art”. Today another painting by Vincent Van Gogh. He painted this in Arles; it shows a view out the door of the Carrel Hotel where he rented a room. Across the street is a butcher’s shop.

Superb but I cannot figure out if the break in the plaster to expose the bricks is deliberate or just a nice artistic coincidence!

oh my, I love that first image….the popped colours, exposed brickwork and the amazing reflections….all just draws you in.
